#throwback One of four nine-banded armadillos my wife and I encountered on a single hike (at different spots). One of the armadillos even ran into us and we had to shoo it away. This one though was better behaved.
This was at dusk on the River Trail at Colorado Bend State Park, TX on Jan. 10, 2023.
